Serpent Mound/Fort Ancient

Went on an native american history trip yesterday to southern Ohio to see some mound and mound building cultures. Fort Ancient had a long row of earthworks and small stone mound. Serpent mound is like a big snake 1/4 mile long and 2' to 5' high. Serpent mound was definity better and the wigwam was cool.

St Mary's Ohio

We had a liitle job in St Mary's OH, home to at one time the largest manmade lake in the US. I was dug by hand and slip scoop and mules. It was for the Miami/Erie Canal. I thought this boat was cool,reminders me of Steamboat Willy. It's a big lake,55,000 acres,and not over 7' deep.

Just Hanging

Bub and I just hung out quietly at my Bloomington shop. Also looked at 2 pieces of property in Bedford, a river bottom , and a ridge overlooking the same bttom property. We'll see.
