A new world

With our world upside due to a real or manufactured pandemic I have had the pleasure of spending alot of time at home. Which doesn't seem like much a unless you've been on the road for 16 years. So a plus for the Covid. Been doing alot of crafts, making pickles, gardening, taking alot of pictures. Then the bottom fell out. Taunya was rushed to the hospital for infections and pnemonia. 2 days of flirting with death and 10 days in the hospital. Finally got her home, finally walking and talking. Making a remarkable recovery and a new chapter in our lives. So for some

2020 has been the suck ass year, and I thought mine was too, but  I've had a change of heart. Got to look at the big picture, then everything else falls in place.

Birds

With plenty of time on hand watching spring unfold some bird feeders were in order. We saw an immature bald eagle a couple weeks ago. Going to make a jelly/orange feeder, put 1 orange up and had an oriole in 2 days. I like being able to go out and built something on a whim, or just watch my birds for hours. Got some more projects working. And a shout out to our beloved "Shithead" who has been missing for over 2 weeks. Not like him, but he was free to come and go so goes it. All things dies, but how things or we really live?

Spring has sprung

Its been nice watching spring come, I had been on the road for the last 16ysr and would only get a glimpse every weekend. But now, my deer planting from last year has turn the yard into a see of yellow full birds and bees. Since the bars and Hill is closed we decided to build our own bar on the back deck. Nice, Rob came over Thursday to do his remote beer tasting. The way it looks going to be spending maybe the whole summer home, while really isn't that bad. Fixing the house, making music, jamming weekly, making crafts. I ain't complaining, wished I had been quarantined sooner. Check out Rob Wheasler Beer reviews on You Tube we did some from the bar, Note: He doesn't like picked quail eggs.

Now what

What do you do when your unemployed and quarantined at home. Turn old barns into birdhouses, cool, fun, and kinda keeps the insanity at bay. Finally found the right log after 20 yrs to make the perfect drum. Plays as good as it looks. Trying times for sure. Nuff said
